Meir Panim Update
Yeshiva Students Learn a Lesson
December 17, 2019

Meir Panim branches run on volunteers. Often, these young minds come from study gap programs between high school and college. It is rare that we are able to capture their expressions and experiences on camera. This time, we did.

On December 17th, Five students from Lev Hatorah, a Yeshiva in Beit Shemesh, were told that they will be visiting a restaurant in Jerusalem. What they did not know, was that it is a restaurant-style soup kitchen. The students entered, made their orders and were taken by surprise when they all received little rations.

Watch the video below to see for yourself and consider ways in which you can support Meir Panim’s efforts to make Jerusalem and Israel a better place. Together, we can alleviate hunger for 1.8 million Israeli citizens.
