'Clalit' Health Insurance and Meir Panim

Thanks to them, and the generous donations collected from 'Clalit' employees and patients, tens of extra families received Passover food baskets in time for the upcoming holiday.

Meir Panim's Jerusalem Restaurant in the News

After it was aired, a last-minute donation was made to cover a public Seder in the restaurant! Nicole, the devoted restaurant manager, is working around the clock to prepare for the Seder tomorrow night.

Distributing Food Packages to the Needy

Packages included matzah, wine, basic foodstuffs, cleaning materials and snacks. Volunteer youth and soldiers packaged the parcels. Some of the needy picked up the packages from the branches, while most packages were delivered directly to the homes of the needy.

Seder Night in Tsfat's Youth Club

The model Seder taught the children of the importance and beauty of the ritual, along with a familiarity with its traditions, which will enable the youth to fully participate in their families' Seders to take place on Wednesday evening.

Helping Survivors Survive

As part of an experimental program to assist the aging survivors, 1000 survivors will receive magnetic cards with which they will be able to purchase food in time for Passover.

The new card, developed with Meir Panim, will be loaded with 300nis a month for one year. During this year, recipients will be able to purchase groceries (excluding alcohol and tobacco) in the major food chains.

Meir Panim distributes Purim costumes to needy children

On the spot it was decided that Meir Panim would distribute Purim costumes amongst the children in the youth clubs. Donations were garnered, costumes were purchased and distributed, and the children of Meir Panim's youth clubs celebrated Purim with an extra reason to be joyous.
