Meir Panim Update
Giving And Giving More
January 1, 1970

Throughout the year the students donate money to the fund in lieu of giving Bar/Bat Mitzvah gifts to their classmates. At the end of the year, a portion of the funds is used to subsidize the class trip to Israel and the rest is distributed to charities selected by the class.

But that’s not all! On their annual trip to Israel this year, the 8th grade students not only hand delivered their tzedaka to Meir Panim but they also rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at the Meir Panim-Power of Giving warehouse in Tel Aviv. There they folded, sorted, and organized the clothing shelves of the secondhand warehouse.

Forevermore, the students of the Krieger Schechter School will be fondly known to Meir Panim as the kids who keep on giving!
