Shocking Statistics into Israel Poverty
Recent statistics, according to an annual report published by Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute) in December of 2018, shows that 1.8 million Israelis – including 800,000 children – are living below the poverty line. Analysts are not predicting a dramatic change, leaving the data to be shocking and concerning.

Meir Panim Creates Safe Space
Meir Panim’s programs and services offer a wide range of support to communities throughout Israel. On Friday night of November 1st, 2019, the State of Israel was attacked by rockets from Gaza over the Sderot area and neighboring communities. Meir Panim centers serve as a safe-haven to regroup from the trauma.
