Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated friends Mr. Ailon Maik and Dr. George Weinberger who hosted a beautiful shabbath on behalf of Meir Panim, the Chesed Committee of SSTC, in concurrence with Rabbi Feuerstein and the Board of Directors, selected Meir Panim as recipient organization of their Annual Chesed Campaign for Israel.

They have already been successful in raising $31,000, and this money will fund and dedicate the Produce Refrigeration Room and Administrative Office in the new facility. Mr. Maik personally presented the check to the Chairman of the parent org. in Israel Mr. Dudi Zilbershlag, and the President of American Friends of Meir Panim, and co/chair in Israel Mr. David Roth, during his recent visit in Israel.

We are extremely thankful to our friends at SSTC for providing us with the necessary tools to help build the new plant that will ensure the well-being and future of thousands of needy children.
